Founded in 2016, Beyond Organic (BYO) is one of only a handful of certified organic manufacturers of nutraceuticals in the U.S. BYO operates two manufacturing plants and a warehouse in three separate, thinly populated rural counties in southern Missouri with poverty rates as high as 29.40% and unemployment rates as high as 12.40%. BYO is one of the largest employers in the region and their rapidly growing operations are strongly supported by local officials. BYO sources a portion of its raw materials from an affiliated, adjacent 4,000 acre farm that is Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC). ROC is a revolutionary new certification that goes far beyond current organic standards thereby reducing carbon emissions, improving soil health and protecting diversity in the region.
